Sony® STR-DA2800ES STR-DA2800ES at left includes HD Digital Cinema Sound™ (HD DCS) with Front High Speakers delivers stunning realism while variable zones give you the sound you want, where you want it. Sony and Control4 collaborated on the design of the STR-DA2800ES enabling this AVR to run the Control4 OS software on native Sony hardware! Called Easy Automation, this feature allows you to control up to four home theater components, including your TV, cable box and Blu-ray Disc™ player plus the STR-DA2800ES, with the press of a button on the included remote or with the ES Remote app on your compatible iOS or Android™ device. You can even control your lights with Control4's wireless outlet switches or dimmers.

With the STR-DA2800ES and the easy set-up wizard, you can create, save, and launch pre-programmed scenes and moods. For instance, choose "Watch A Movie" and the lights dim, the volume and EQ adjust to where you want, the inputs switch, and your home theater comes alive. It even lets you create scenes for all of your entertainment options, whether it's movie watching, music for private listening or a house party, or for any of your gaming choices.

In addition to the built-in automation features, the STR-DA2800ES also has a built-in 4-port Ethernet network switch. These extra consolidated features reduces the shelf or rack space required for a traditional AVR, eliminates several cables, and allows for future expansion to a complete smart home solution by deploying additional Control4 components.
